buzzED
Buzz recognises that childhood and youth are key times for exposure to the performing arts. Our programs reach children, young people and their communities, engaging all of them as creators and audiences. Buzz does this, believing that creativity is the domain of all ages, backgrounds, and people, and a crucial cultural resource that gives profound meaning and quality to life. buzzED connects with children and young people physically and conceptually through a program of workshops and residencies. Professional development for teachers, holiday programs for community groups, workshops in schools and festivals are just some of the highly successful buzzED activities Buzz offers. Participants are encouraged to play, learn and explore aspects of dance theatre. Along with the buzzED workshop programs run in conjunction with each performance season, Buzz offers dynamic professional development opportunities for primary and secondary school dance teachers.
